Further to the previous post, here’s a photograph of No. 14412702, Private Bill Nutt from the inside of his copy of 'Assault Division' wearing his coloured Royal Norfolk Regiment FS cap and a nice tailored battledress, probability in 1942-43.

A long shot, but it may jog a memory or two…
